Free wi-fi and a blast of warm air was what drew me to this particular Costa, after a very rainy venture to Camden market! The baristas were all lovely, accommodating and helpful, and the English breakfast tea was hot and much needed. I love the portion size, sufficient for two and a half cups of tea!
The downfall was the one toilet upstairs in which I had to wait in a 10 minute queue for, and my milk being served in a paper cup, which did put a downer on my experience as I do like my China... Or in this case, paper.
But overall, a good place for a quick drink or meeting -

Naturally, a chain can never provide a truly authentic experience. In this case, the drinks were average to bad and there was a continuous long row for the single toilet. I really wouldn't go here unless you really need some caffeine quick and dirty.

Popped in to escape the rain from my tour of camden market. Nice coffee shop with baked goods and a variety of cafe drinks. The cortado is perfect for a mid day wake up. 2 short pulls and some milk and I'm ready to go go go.
The downstairs area is quite large and they have free WiFi! -

This became my strategizing headquarters before my daily adventures in the great land of London. Sadly, I arrived to this brilliant piece of planning work towards the end of my trip *facepalm*.
I ended up trying this new coffee drink that is not found in Canada: flat white. Finally, sitting down in my sweats at home, I researched what on earth this fancy drink is. Apparently, it uses more espresso coffee than a cappuccino or latte, within a comparatively smaller size, and uses very creamily-steamed milk. It is by no means an invention of this chain. Apparently, it was already known in Australia and New Zealand and its introduction to the UK came about through some coffee conference in prior months.
Because I am not a coffee drinker, this coffee drink fascinated me and I ended up having it all the time. It's actually well made and tasty, and its effects on you are not overly noticeable. I experienced no nervous jolts. Good coffee.
The store itself is small in the inside with few tables, but a large patio seating, which I didn't use given the weather. It may be a chain but because it is situated in a non-touristy section of London, it doesn't spoil the neighbourhood. -

A brand new Costa Coffee opened on Chalk Farm Road. For winter this will you will find me on rainy days.
I like Costa Interiors, they are smart looking with comfortable seating, calm colors and this location has seats in a little atrium area that allows for some great people watching of Camden where it is dry and warm.
They also have some outside tables for those days it is warm and sunny enough to be outside. As well as a decent size downstairs area that is well lit and comfortable.
Costa favorites for me are the tea served in a tea pot with the tiny jug of milk, Carmel Crunch and the Lemon and orange muffins Yummy.
